ASTA is proud to announce a brand new exclusive opportunity for all of its exhibitors for the 2009-2010 year. The new "ASTA Exhibitor Success Center," provided by the ASTA Associates Division, is an online tool designed to help exhibitors analyze their current exhibition strategy, whether participating in ASTA shows or otherwise, to better formulate a game plan to ensure that pre-planning steps are being taken to promote your business, face time with trade show audiences is being maximized to its fullest potential, and that leads are being properly followed up. This exclusive tool is being offered complimentary to all ASTA exhibitors, to ensure that you and your business will receive the maximum return on investment for your participation in an ASTA convention!

Each year, the Western Seed Association and the American Seed Trade Association come together to offer outstanding networking opportunities across varying seed commodities, bringing together the Annual Meeting of the Western Seed Association and the Farm and Lawn Seed Divisions of the American Seed Trade Association for the ASTA Farm and Lawn Seed Conference. This event is held annually at the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri, this year from November 7 - 10, 2009, and will feature exhibit and sponsorship opportunities for the first time. Bring your business to its highest potential by exhibiting your company to this broad-based audience. The event offers a great value for your investment!

Also new for ASTA exhibitors at any of our 2009-2010 conventions is the “Exhibitor Success Center,” an online training tool available 24/7 to help you make better use of your time exhibiting at this or any trade show. The Exhibitor Success Center guides you through the essential pre-show, show-site and post-show steps you and your team should be taking to ensure that no exhibit investment dollars are wasted. A free benefit to any ASTA exhibitor this year!

Who Attends?

The main focus of the ASTA Farm and Lawn Seed Conference/Western Seed Association’s Annual Meeting is networking. The vast majority of its approximately 600 attendees come for personal appointments with other seed industry professionals, typically conducted right in the ballroom foyer area where exhibitors will be located. This wildly popular “Trading Area” is next to the Century Ballroom where ASTA programming also take place. The convention schedule includes meetings of ASTA’s Invasive Species Working Group, the Environmental and Conserrvation Seed Committee, and the Farm and Lawn Seed Divisions, offering timely and relevant speakers offering the latest in seed industry information and education. Additionally, the conference . Thus, this event attracts representatives from multiple facets of the seed industry, particularly those focused on lawn and turf and other farm seed commodities. Top executives from these companies attend — approximately 500 in all — from across the United States, Canada and abroad.


EXHIBIT OPPORTUNITIES

Exhibit Display Tables
Cost $600 ASTA member / $900 ASTA non-member

  • Company Promotional Materials
  • Must be registered with WSA to reserve a table
  • Any costs associated with the production of the exhibit (hotel power fees, as an example) are at cost for the exhibitor
  • Will be placed in the Century Ballroom foyer outside the Division meeting rooms, where trading tables are placed
  • Five tables available

Exhibits will be located in the Century Ballroom Foyer of the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Exhibits can be table-top or pop-up. Separate registration to the conference is required for any booth personnel.

Exhibit Spaces

Exhibit spaces are 8’ wide (table-top) or 10’ wide (pop-up) and include:

  • One 6’ skirted table with two chairs
  • Company name and description on convention web site
  • Company description in onsite program
  • Pre- and post-meeting attendee lists

Additional booth amenities such as power, shipping, audio visual equipment, etc. are the responsibility of the exhibitor. Sponsorships are also available. Contact ASTA at (703) -837- 8140 for more information or assistance.
